John Colville 1966-2015
Friends and family are invited to attend memorial services for John on Sunday November 22nd at 5pm at Unyak Church located at 2578 Belcastro St. Suite 103, Las Vegas, NV 89117 (Sahara & Tenaya) A reception immediately follows the service.
We are reaching out to the poker world to request assistance for one of our own. John Colville, former Executive at Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vegas has been dealing with health issues for a couple of years. He recently experienced a massive stroke and passed away Nov 11th, 2015.
John has been a friend to many in the industry for years. He created the Grand Poker Series held annually at the Golden Nugget and attended by thousands of players. He also supported many poker entities such as Poker After Dark, High Stakes Poker, WPT Boot Camp, LIPS Tour and the Women in Poker Hall of Fame. He hosted charity events benefiting Autism, MS, Veterans, local shelters, Boys and Girls Club, children’s programs, and Poker Gives.
John has a family he supports and has been out of work for several months. The family could use all our support as they prepare for the inevitable.
